Welcome to the Palmanova

Welcome to the Palmanova is a participatory conflict simulation game designed for non-formal educational settings. It is inspired by the divided city of Nicosia, Cyprus, with a focus on the ideological divide between “Europe” and “not”.
The game is played in a physical space, not virtually. It's aim is to simulate the biases in the passport issuance system, the denial of mobility to certain individuals, and the nationalist education that shames others from exercising their freedom of movement, ultimately deepening societal divisions.
